Nicholas Moscardelli

Nicholas Moscardelli, a graduate of the Class of 2012, and now a current student at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Il., was recently chosen as a recipient of a research grant for the Musk Deer population. The Musk Deer are located in Asia and used in the perfume industry and also traditional Chinese medication. Moscardelli is working on a synthetic discovery of a replacement for the use of the muscone oil. “Sacred Heart-Griffin did an outstanding job with preparing me for college and this summer research opportunity.

The supportive faculty and staff always put the students first and want what is best for them. The academics helped get me ready for college courses and all the work that goes into having a successful college career. SHG taught me to pursue my goals and to always strive for better.”
