WORLD HISTORY

Including limited background study of the great movements, people, and
civilizations of earlier periods, this course focuses on the time span of the
Renaissance through modern times. This course is designed for students who are
primarily interested in modern historical topics. Reading, research, and study
skills (including note-taking and outlining) are included.
GLOBAL GEOGRAPHY- ONE SEMESTER
CREDIT: .5 (4.A grading) GRADES 10 - 12
This course studies five major areas of the world: Africa, Asia, Central and South America,
Europe, and Australia. The social, political, economic, historical, and cultural aspects of each
area are examined. Maps are provided by the instructor in class.
