From the President

Dear Friends,

Sister Katherine

Phase II of our GENERATIONS campaign brings with it new opportunities and excitement as we take this important step in the history of Sacred Heart-Griffin High School. Thanks to the generosity and sacrifice of numerous supporters, the initial phase of the construction and renovation campaign at Sacred Heart-Griffin has been a success. I pray that Phase II will be as well received.

We are grateful to the 856 donors who contributed $6.7 million in Phase I of the GENERATIONS campaign. The Phase I efforts have allowed us to upgrade and expand our facilities at both East and West Campuses.

Another major Phase I accomplishment strengthened our academic programming when we pioneered a unique relationship with St. John’s Hospital. The only known partnership like this in the country, the on-site St. John’s AthletiCare clinic will not only provide treatment to injured athletes, but will offer shadowing and mentoring opportunities for our students interested in pursuing careers in the health care field. The new clinic will also be open to the public.

Phase II of the GENERATIONS campaign is complete with the construction of a multi-sport complex at West Campus. The new facility, which will serve as the host site for SHG baseball, football, and soccer teams.

Although the physical work is nearly done - our fundraising is not. We still need to raise $5 million more to reach our goal. With everyone doing their part, we WILL succeed. Future generations of SHG students are depending on us!

Blessings,

Sister Katherine
