Jonas Volkman Freshman "My name is Jonas Volkman and I am a freshman at Sacred Heart - Griffin. Choosing to attend SHG was one of the best decisions I ever made. My two brothers and sister are SHG graduates. This is the first time I have attended a Catholic school and I appreciate beginning each class with a prayer. In addition, I have also met several of the Sisters at the convent during my study hall. All of my teachers at SHG have high expectations and challenge each of their students to do their best. Besides my classes, I am on the freshman baseball team and was on the JV Academic Team. I enjoy watching or playing almost all sports and play the trumpet and piano. I have found everybody at SHG - teachers, coaches, and students - to be friendly and supportive." |
