SHG Peer Leaders 2011-2012
A Peer Leader is someone who...
-a positive person to be around
-sets a good example
-can be confided in
-is willing to lead when others will not step up
SHG Peer Leaders undergo a day-long training in the summer to prepare for Freshmen Orientation.
Sophomore Peer Leaders help with the parent Back-to-School Night in the fall.
Juniors & senior Peer Leaders are selected to lead the Freshmen and Sophomore Retreats, and they undergo additional training.
All Peer Leaders may elect to co-facilitate freshman Group with Ms. Benson during study halls. Peer Leaders give helpful advice regarding teachers, policies, Homecoming, etc. to SHG's newest students!
Applications will be available in April 2012.
