Students of the Month

Chloe H.
Hi, My name is Chloe, and I am a senior here at SHG. I play volleyball and soccer. I am a member of F.I.R.E., BRAVE, NHS, and Christmas club. I enjoy all of the opportunities the school offers to make new friends and have new experiences. SHG is my home away from home. I have had experiences I would not be able to get anywhere else. I have met some of my best friends here and would not trade them for the world. SHG has some of the best academics in the area and I am forever grateful to have been able to come here!

Andy K.

Hello! My name is Andy, and I am apart of the junior class graduating in 2021. I play football here at SHG and I am also a member of the student council. Whenever I am not practicing football, I enjoy being outdoors. I like to hunt and fish, especially during the fall. I am a big fan of the Bears and Cardinals, and I enjoy cooking breakfast on the weekends. The thing I like most about SHG are the teachers I have this year. Whenever I come to school tired and not wanting to learn, I end up actually having a fun time while I learn new things. Thank you teachers for making school enjoyable and inspiring me to strive for better grades.

Ellie R.

Hello! My name is Elizabeth, although most people know me as Ellie. I'm in 10th grade here at SHG. I play softball here at school, and I'm also on a competitive  team that I play on outside of the school softball season. I love that at SHG I'm challenged in my classes, and that all the teachers are willing to help if needed. When I first came to SHG, I was very scared because I didn't know anyone, but everyone was very welcoming and I made friends within the first week. I'm very thankful to have the opportunity to go to this great school.

Luke E.

Hi, my name is Luke and I am a freshman here at SHG. I’m going to join scholastic bowl and the gaming club, and I hope to join other clubs whenever they start. What I like most about SHG is that I meet so many new people. At SHG I get to know many students with similar interests, and I even met some old friends from Montessori School, which I attended up to fourth grade. SHG offers a very good education, and much better lunches than grade school. I like that SHG has so many clubs to choose from and so many volunteer opportunities. The teachers are invested in our future, and SHG provides us with counselors and college advisors.
