Ben D.

My name is Ben Deaner and I am a senior at SHG. I play football at SHG and am in the Mission class. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, playing video games, working out, and sometimes cooking. My favorite part of SHG is all the different people you become friends with through your 4 years here. Every year I continue to meet amazing people. SHG also has helped me grow a lot as a person spiritually, mentally, and physically. I am so thankful for the opportunity to attend SHG and for everyone who has helped me along the way.

Joseph D.

Hi! My name is Joseph Ducaji and I am a junior here at Sacred Heart-Griffin. I am a member of Key Club and service class, and have volunteered for the musical and student ambassador events. I also am a Eucharistic Minister, an altar server, and have frequently read at Friday morning Masses. I’ve had a lot of fun being a member of the academic team, golf team, and diving team. My favorite SHG memory so far was when the boys swimming and diving team won City last year. In my free time, I springboard dive, hunt deer and turkey, jump on my trampoline, read, golf, and hang out with friends. At the beginning of the semester, I was apprehensive about all the challenges that were presented this school year, but the faculty and staff here at SHG have worked hard to make sure that we have as normal a school year as possible. With all the challenges presented at this time, I am reminded of how lucky I am to go to this school.

Adeline G.

Hi Cycs! My name is Adeline Gilmore, and I am a sophomore at Sacred-Heart Griffin. I am a member of Key Club, French Club, and Christmas Club. I am also on the soccer and volleyball teams at SHG. In my free time, I love hanging out with friends and family, baking, and going on bike rides. This year has been challenging but the school’s staff has worked so hard to give us the best education and experience possible. The teachers at SHG are encouraging and determined to help all the students achieve their goal of academic excellence. The school provides students not only with the academic tools needed later in life, but it sets up a solid foundation and understanding of our faith. I love SHG and am so blessed to be a part of the community here!

Nicolas T.
Hi. My name is Nicolas Titone. I am a freshman here at SHG. I enjoy playing SHG football, spending time with family, and playing video games with my friends. My favorite subjects are physics and Spanish, although I am fond of all my classes. I have been fortunate enough to continue doing the things I love either virtually or in a new way despite the changes in plans and lifestyle because of this unorthodox year. What I like the most about SHG is the curriculum. I feel like I have learned more here in a semester than I ever have before. I am also grateful that we have been able to learn mostly in school because the experience of going to school is one of the things I look forward to the most.
