Shadow Days at SHG
Spend a Day as a Cyclone!
The best way to discover what makes Sacred Heart-Griffin High School special is to experience it for yourself
During a Shadow Day, prospective students spend the day at SHG attending classes, meeting teachers, connecting with students, and experiencing the energy and spirit of our school community. Shadow students are paired with a current SHG student host who will guide them throughout the day and help them see what life at SHG is really like.
It’s the perfect opportunity to explore our campus, ask questions, and imagine yourself as part of the SHG family.
We can’t wait to welcome you!
Who Can Participate?
Shadow Days are available for:
- Current 8th-grade students considering or planning to attend SHG for high school
- High school students interested in transferring to SHG
Shadow Pairing
To help shadow students have the most meaningful experience:
- 8th-grade shadow students will shadow a current SHG 9th-grade student to experience what high school life at SHG is like.
- Transfer shadow students will shadow a student in their current grade level or one grade higher, depending on whether they plan to transfer mid-year or the following year.
Sibling Exception: Shadow students may choose to shadow their sibling at SHG, regardless of grade level.
Shadow students may request a specific SHG student to host them, or our admissions team will thoughtfully pair them with a host who shares similar interests. Final host assignments are based on student availability and scheduling considerations.
