Transfer Students

"It's never to late to join our Cyclone Family!"

Sacred Heart-Griffin High School accepts transfer students each year. Transfer students from other high schools are normally considered for admission at the beginning of a semester, unless the family is moving into the Springfield area, or at the discretion of the school if circumstances warrant. A screening process is used to ensure that the student’s former school record and reason for transfer are consistent with SHG's mission and goals. To start the transfer process, please complete the Transfer Student Application. Once the application is received, our Director of Admissions will be in contact to set up a Transfer Meeting. Before a transfer student may complete their enrollment process, the student and parent/guardian must attend a Transfer Meeting with the Principal, Director of Student and Family Services/Guidance, and Director of Admissions. Students must provide the most recent transcripts included in the application. Students may also bring a copy of their most recent transcripts to the meeting.

Please contact our Director of Admissions, Megan Cox at cox@shg.org or 217.787.1595 ext. 235 with any questions or to arrange an appointment time for a Transfer Meeting.
